2023 European Conference & Exhibition

BICSI and the entire Cabling & Wireless and Spring team warmly thank Sponsors, Exhibitors, Speakers and delegates who took part in the BICSI Endosed Event, 2023 European Conference & Exhibition, held on 18^th April at the NH Congress Centre in Assago (MI), an important European event dedicated to Information Transport Systems, ICT Infrastructures and Data Centers.

Contributions of high technical value on some of the most interesting and current topics were presented at the conference.

We started by explaining how to Selecting the Right Fibre Optic Cable, then we talked about applications on fiber: how to guarantee new architectures and the strict loss budgets, we moved on to SDM (Space Division Multiplexing) transmission systems using Optical Multicore Fibers, and then how to successful fiber deployment with automated Bi-Directional testing, finally discussing how to assuring Infrastructure Readiness Across Smart Building Technologies.

Later the speakers explained when to use an OTDR, and how to use it correctly, they talked about Optical Backscatter Reflectometers (OBRs) with Sub-Millimeter Resolution for Latency/Length Measurements, and Short Fiber Optic Network Diagnosis; other topics were then addressed such as the safe distribution of power over long distances, the “Digital Electricity™” which is having an impact on the way power is distributed across buildings, campuses and cities and, finally, is discussed on the main factors driving the evolution of networks in Data Centers.

Thank you all for the excellent result obtained, for the number of participants (over 180 registered delegates of which around 75% were present), for the interest shown in the plenary session for the technical presentations of international speakers, for the 2 parallel sessions on highly topical subjects and for the active presence in the exhibition hall of 13 companies, representing important players in the field of ICT industry and Data Centers.
